As you fish or float the river, or bike or walk the trails, we need photos of the river below the canyon mouth whenever it runs dry, is reduced to a trickle, or is otherwise in bad shape. Send photos to us along with the date and time, and objectively describe any problems with the river. Document all signs of pollution or habitat stress (e.g. oil slicks, dead fish, waterfowl packed into tiny pools in the stream channel, etc.) This winter and spring are important as they are seasons when river-dependent wildlife suffer.
Send your photos and documentation to photos@savethepoudre.org. And spread the word to your friends who also wish to keep enjoying the scenic Cache la Poudre River! |
