The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers released the “Final Environmental Impact Statement” for the proposed Halligan dam/reservoir expansion project. Save The Poudre is analyzing the document with the same scientific and legal rigor we have applied to all of our work. We are considering the “alternatives,” including that the City of Fort Collins could store its water in Glade Reservoir instead of building a new 100-foot tall, $300 million dam across the North Fork of the Poudre.
