If you have the time, we need your help! Save The Poudre is a grassroots organization dependent upon volunteers. We especially need your help to staff our booth at fairs and festivals such as the New West Fest and Sustainable Living Fair. Some people help us to plan and staff fundraisers or help with social marketing. If you have scientific research expertise, we will need many volunteers to help us analyze and prepare comments when the next draft Environmental Impact Statement on the Northern Integrated Supply Project is released. We also encourage folks to submit letters to the editor of newspapers or to submit comments to our Facebook page.

Send Us or Post Your River Photos and Videos

As you fish or float the river, bike or walk the trails, we would like to have more photos of the river below the canyon mouth if you see something unique, something to share. For example, if the river has run dry (or almost dry), people in or along the river having fun, anglers catching fish, or attractive wildlife shots. Send photos to us along with the date and time, and any other explanatory information you believe may be useful.

If you see a problem of some kind (pollution or habitat stress, like oil slicks, dead fish, waterfowl packed into tiny pools in the stream channel, etc.), please carefully note what you see (date, time, & circumstances) and send those notes along too.

Send your videos, photos and documentation to photos@savethepoudre.org or post them to your favorite social media site and send us a link. And spread the word to your friends who also wish to keep enjoying the scenic Cache la Poudre River!
